Pulitzer
Prize Winner to Discuss Pulitzer Prize Winner Doris Kearns Goodwin [www.doriskearnsgoodwin.com] will offer the Keynote Presentation for the RCI 22nd International Convention & Trade Show. The event will be held Saturday, March 3 at 1:30 pm. Goodwin won the Pulitzer Prize in 1995 for her book No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The American Home Front During World War II. The book was also awarded the Harold Washington Literary Award, the New England Bookseller Association Award, the Ambassador Book Award, and the Washington Monthly Book Award. It was a New York Times best seller for six months. Her Keynote presentation will feature insights from her latest book: Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln. — This work is a monumental history of President Abraham Lincoln. It was published in October 2005 and reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List. The book won the 2006 Lincoln Prize for an outstanding work about the president and/or the Civil War, and the inaugural New York Historical Society Book Prize. Steven Spielberg is currently developing a feature film about the book, set to star Liam Neeson as Lincoln. |

for Abstracts RCI is seeking abstracts for consideration for the 2007 Symposium on Building Envelope Technology. [www.rci-online.org/downloads/BES07-Call-Abstracts.pdf] The event will be held November 8-9, 2007 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The theme for the event will be: Designing, Detailing and Specifying the Building Envelope of Today and Tomorrow. Abstracts of 200 words or less should be submitted by March 16, 2007.
