RCI announced the winners of the 2007 Document Competition Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the Awards Luncheon during the 22nd RCI International Convention & Trade Show in Orlando, Florida.

The RCI Document Competition is an annual RCI event organized to recognize members' excellence in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope project documentation. All entries were on display at the RCI International Trade Show, March 3-4, 2006

The following individuals received first place honors:

For excellence in the Report Writing category, first place was awarded to: Christopher T. Waites, ADC Engineering, Inc. for the Medical University of South Carolina, Institute of Psychiatry.

For excellence in the Small Roofing/Waterproofing/Building Envelope Project Documents category, for construction valued less than $500,000, first place was awarded to Scott Toller, PBK Inc., for Southern Methodist University, Dallas Hall, Dallas, TX.

For excellence in the Large Roofing/Waterproofing/Building Envelope Project Documents category, for construction valued greater than $500,000, first place was awarded to Michael Petermann, Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. for 60 Sutton Place, New York, NY.

All winning entries will be recognized in the April/May 2007 issue of Interface, RCI’s monthly technical journal. A summary of the competition’s first, second, and third place winners from each category will be featured in the June 2007 issue of the publication.
