Facility Consulting - Project Coordinator (Houston, TX)
Description:
PBK Facility Consulting Group is in search of an architectural intern for preparation and coordination of construction documents. Duties will include accurately preparing roof and building envelope construction documents for projects; communicating with and coordinating the preparation of documents with the project architect, consultants, contractors and other team members; reviewing shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance; communicating and coordinating with management, architects, clients, consultants and contractors related to daily business operations; supervising various aspects of assigned projects; construction field observation during construction.

Candidates must have excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills and possess a strong desire to excel and advance in a fast paced, challenging and client focused environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp or other 3D Modeling programs a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with project architects, external client organizations and vendors.
