Inspects the work of an assigned project to ensure that materials and workmanship meet the requirements of the project documents.  The work to be inspected includes but not limited to foundation waterproofing and vapor banner systems; masonry veneer wall systems; curtain walls; EIFS assemblies; rain screen systems; air/moisture banner systems; roofing assemblies. Conducts tests/inspections and documents compliance and progress.  Ensures continuous communication with the project managers and the construction team while work is in progress.  These communications must include reports on deficiencies/discrepancies between the project documents and the executed work.

Candidate needs to have a college degree or technical training in architecture, engineering or construction. With one to three years of experience in construction/architecture and excellent word and writing skills.

ROOF INSPECTOR
Wade Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Roof Inspector to join our consulting company. The successful
candidate requires knowledge of the roofing industry.

Position Summary

The candidate will be required to inspect and evaluate roofing (low-slope and steep-slope). The Inspector's tasks will consist of writing roof condition reports, completing and documenting field reviews, and working with other personnel to produce roof maintenance packages and roof replacement specifications.

Skills Required
· Journeyman Roofing Certificate or 10 years' experience in the industry (extensive knowledge of flatroofing is an asset).
