The Registered Building Envelope Consultant designation will be awarded to those who have earned the Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), and Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC) registrations. The RBEC title will be listed in addition to the other three consultant titles. While there are no fees or exam involved, individuals desiring this designation will be required to complete a form.
Once all three designations have been earned, contact Director of Registrations Micki Kamszik at mkamszik@rci-online.org or 800-828-1902 to request a form for the RBEC designation.
To maintain this designation, the individual renewal fees for the RRC, RWC, and REWC must be paid and a total of 15 Continuing Educational Hours (CEHs) must be earned, annually. Individuals holding this designation will be required to sign a form to confirm that the annually required 15 CEHs have been earned from a combination of roofing, waterproofing and exterior wall courses.
